AMBIENT for Hue

AMBIENT for Hue extracts the average color and the two most dominant colors out of an arbitrary scene in real time (e.g. screen of your TV). You can assign these colors to your hue lamps. This way you can imitate an ambilight TV by continuous scanning of your TV with the camera of your iPhone and placing one or more hue lamps behind your TV.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Connect the app with your bridge by pressing the link button of your bridge (one-time).
• Assign your hue lamps to a color by tapping a color view.
• Press start button.

NOTE

This app only works with a Philips hue starter set (bridge + hue bulbs). App needs to be in foreground.
