Description of the App

Sing To Talk is a series of publication by Summer's Therapy Services, using songs to target speech, language and social skills.

There are three series, namely Speech, Language and Social Skills.

Little Monkey is the first book of the Speech series. It targets three basic vowels 'ah', 'oo' and 'ee'.

Ice Cream Man is the second book of the Speech series. It targets bilabial sounds 'b', 'm' and 'p', combined with consonants.

How the idea came about

Sing to Talk is the brain child and heart work of Speech Therapist Sum Hui Ting and Music Therapist Jenny Lee. The two therapists met in 2008 when they were working together in a special school in Singapore.

Hui Ting was looking for new and fun ideas to help children learn speech, language and social skills, while Jenny was exploring what else music can do. When they met, many lightbulbs were lit and the rest is history...

In case you have not guessed it, Hui Ting drew the pictures in the Apps while Jenny wrote the songs. Together, they came up with the theme, lyrics and story lines.

Music Therapy Videos Subscription
• Yearly subscription to gain access to/unlock all music therapy videos
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, with cost of renewal to be the same as initial subscription price (localised pricing available in-app)
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable
